§1

Acceptance of Terms

  • By creating an account or using IvaBuddy in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  • If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use IvaBuddy.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use IvaBuddy services.
  • If you are using IvaBuddy on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Use of Service

  • IvaBuddy provides professional email services including @ivabuddy.com addresses, custom domain email, scheduling, templates, and contact management.
  • You may only use IvaBuddy services for lawful, ethical, and legitimate purposes.
  • Each user may only maintain one account unless expressly authorized in writing by IvaBuddy.
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials.
  • You agree to notify IvaBuddy immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

Custom Domain Email

  • Adding a custom domain requires successful DNS verification of MX, SPF, and DKIM records.
  • You confirm that you are the legitimate owner or authorized administrator of any domain you connect to IvaBuddy.
  • After domain verification, you may create email addresses per the limits of your chosen plan.
  • If your domain expires or DNS records are removed, associated email addresses will be deactivated.
  • IvaBuddy is not responsible for DNS propagation delays caused by your domain registrar (typically 5 minutes to 48 hours).

Prohibited Activities

  • Sending spam — unsolicited bulk email messages are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension.
  • Using IvaBuddy for phishing, impersonation, fraud, or any form of deception or social engineering.
  • Distributing malware, ransomware, viruses, spyware, or any other malicious software via email.
  • Violating the privacy of others through unauthorized access, data harvesting, or identity theft.
  • Sending, storing, or sharing hate speech, harassment, threats, or any illegal or obscene content.
  • Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of IvaBuddy systems or circumvent security measures.
  • Impersonating IvaBuddy or any IvaBuddy employee, support agent, or representative.

Data & Privacy

  • IvaBuddy is fully compliant with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023.
  • Your email data is stored in encrypted form (AES-256) exclusively on India-based servers in Mumbai and Delhi.
  • We never sell, rent, or share your personal data or email content with third-party advertisers. IvaBuddy is entirely ad-free.
  • Upon permanent account deletion, all personal data is purged from our systems within 30 days.
  • We log account activity (login history, device sessions) solely for your security — to protect your account.

Service Availability

  • IvaBuddy targets 99.9% monthly uptime. Status and incident history are published at ivabuddy.com/status.
  • Planned maintenance will be announced at least 24 hours in advance via email and the status page.
  • Brief unplanned outages may occasionally occur due to unforeseen technical events outside our control.
  • Uptime SLA guarantees and associated credits apply to Business and Enterprise paid plans only.
  • IvaBuddy is not liable for disruptions caused by third-party service providers, internet infrastructure, or force majeure events.

Account Suspension & Termination

  • You may disable or permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  • IvaBuddy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on severity.
  • Accounts found sending spam or engaging in abuse will be suspended immediately and reported to relevant authorities.
  • After account deletion, your email address is reserved for 6 months before being made available again.
  • Refunds for paid plan cancellations are handled on a pro-rated basis per our Refund Policy.

Intellectual Property

  • IvaBuddy and its logo, brand, design, and software are the intellectual property of Tech Codexae and are protected by applicable law.
  • You retain full ownership of all content and data you store in your IvaBuddy account.
  • By using IvaBuddy, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content solely to deliver the service.
  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of IvaBuddy software.

Limitation of Liability

  • IvaBuddy's liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the event.
  • IvaBuddy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of business, revenue, or data.
  • These limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law.

Changes to These Terms

  • IvaBuddy may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before changes take effect.
  • The 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page reflects when the Terms were last revised.
  • Continued use of IvaBuddy after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
  • If you do not agree with updated Terms, you may stop using IvaBuddy and delete your account at any time.

Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
  • IvaBuddy is operated by Tech Codexae, registered and operating in India.
