Between 14:30–15:45 IST, approximately 8% of Android push notifications were delayed by 10–15 minutes due to an upstream FCM service degradation. All notifications were delivered. Our engineering team has added retry logic to prevent recurrence.

Resolved: Intermittent search slowness

RESOLVED

The search service experienced intermittent high latency (3–8 seconds instead of <500ms) from 09:00–10:20 IST due to an index rebuild job consuming excessive resources. The job was rescheduled to off-peak hours and search returned to normal performance.

Resolved: Email delivery delay — international recipients

RESOLVED
2 hours 30 minutes

Emails to certain international providers (Outlook.com, Hotmail) experienced 20–45 minute delays from 18:00–20:30 IST due to a rate-limiting response from Microsoft's servers after a bulk of legitimate emails triggered their anti-spam heuristics. We worked with Microsoft's postmaster team to resolve the IP reputation issue.
